Folsom Lake Smallmouth Bass after work #2

After a successful trip with Andrew earlier in the week at Folsom Lake, I thought I would bring both boys this time and see what we could catch. I had Andrew and Zack rigged with different setups in an effort to see what was working best. Andrew is getting pretty good at casting but Zack still needs a bit more practice. After about 20-30 min.’s and no bites for the boys,.. the rods had been set down, they were down the shore a bit, shoes and socks off, and into the water knee deep. Jumping off a rock into about 6-inches of water splashing each other etc. Boys will be boys!

I did mange to catch a couple and we decided to take this one home to the dinner table. To be honest, I still have a really hard time keeping a freshwater Bass. As I have said before, I have not kept freshwater Bass since I was a kid…
