This month I have been fishing Folsom Lake in the afternoons for a couple hours 2-3 times a week. With water level constantly on the rise the first part of the month, my catch numbers have been pretty low, one or two, nothing consistent or of any size, 12-13″ range. I had yet to really dial in a good pattern. Wednesday March 11, I did bring a couple home for fish tacos. Mmmmm. Sorry, no photos.
Thursday, a couple of buddies & myself headed out to Folsom Lake in the afternoon in search of a few more. We did ok,.. soon after arrival, Benny got one, little guy in the 12″ range, released,.. then I landed a real nice Smallie, 15″ range, tried to get a pic but couldn’t get the camera to work,.. oh well.. Back in the water she went. Eric’s turn! Chunky 13″ spot, onto the stringer with that one. Benny moved a bit and quickly hooked a nice fat Spot! On the stringer he went as well, more fish Tacos for Steve. We moved to several other spots on a our way back to the cars,.. a few swings and misses but that was it for us. No complaints though, good company, great weather, and we even caught a couple fish!
