Bass fishing – Jenkinson Lake

Went up to Jenkinson Lake in the Sly Park Recreation Area for an evening of fishing with John from our Bass club, El Dorado Bass. We fished at several spots and John seemed to be doing a bit better than me catching fish. But I eventually started catching a few. Nothing huge but we caught some really awesome looking Small Mouth Bass and Spotted Bass. I’m not sure how many we ended up with, but I had a great time fishing such a awesome beautiful Lake,.. it reminds me of a mini Lake Tahoe. I hope to bring the family back here for some camping. They have campsites right on shoreline and some even have docks to tie up your boat.
