Shad Fishing on the American River part 2 – Andrew

We hooked up again with Russ from Hog-On Guide service for another evening on the American River for some Shad fishing. With it being so hot and the Shad seem to be bitting better in the last hours of light, we decided to met met Russ at 8PM. We had about an hour and half of some great fast fishing. Perfect for little kids. Not the 20-30 fish nites Russ was having earlier, but still fun for Andrew. I hope we still have enough fish in the system to get my daugher out before the Shad disappear.
